• Typically you'll need a home inspection when you have an accepted offer on a home you're purchasing. This allows you to have a thorough inspection before committing to purchase.  

Why do I need a home inspection?

• A house is most likely the largest investment you'll ever make, so the more you know about the property the better. It's an inexpensive insurance to protect your investment.

• The cost will vary between $275-$350 depending on location. 

Why can't I do it myself?

• Even the most experienced homeowner can miss elements of home construction, proper installation, maintenance and home safety. It's also an objective third party to ensure the most accurate information. 

Do I need to be there?

• No, but we advise that you come at the end to discuss any issues that were found. 

What if there's problems?

• This gives you an opportunity to ask the seller to repair or credit  you for the issues. You can also walk away from the offer.
